The N&M’s House project deals only with an internal restyling of the house located in the attic of a building in Cremona. The state of fact shows how the house is made up of 5 rooms plus hallway:
– entrance/living room
– Kitchen
– master bedroom
– secondary bedroom/study
– bath
The intervention focuses only on the living area and the main bedroom. Firstly, it was decided to demolish the dividing wall between the living room and kitchen and the niches between the windows in order to create a single, larger and brighter living space. Furthermore, to make the walls perpendicular, a wall was added on which the entire kitchen rests. The division between living room and kitchen is however maintained by inserting a peninsula on which the dining table rests. In the living area, a wooden wall covered in gray geopietra was initially inserted into which the fireplace was inserted and the TV hung; subsequently we opted for a solution with a kashmir colored piece of furniture/wall on which the TV is hung and a modern bioethanol fireplace is placed. The same color of the wall is echoed in the kitchen furniture which is topped with a white lacquered wooden top in which a Franke Crystal White series sink and a Franke Crystal White series hob are inserted. Instead, Calligaris Omnia XXL furniture was chosen for the dining table and Calligaris Alyon for the sofa. The intervention in the bedroom instead involves the demolition of a niche and the insertion of a dividing wall which allows the creation of a walk-in closet with a mirrored sliding door.
